Prior to launching GDR, Guy served as a partner at Davis Shapiro Lewit Grabel Leven Granderson & Blake, LLP and as Senior Vice President of Legal & Business Affairs at Warner Chappell Music. He has been a course instructor and speaker at the University of California, Los Angeles Extension, Pepperdine University Caruso School of Law, and Southwestern School of Law, and has been a panelist and guest lecturer for various organizations such as the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP), Association of Independent Music Publishers (AIMP), the California Copyright Conference, and Pepperdine School of Law. He has also served on the Beverly Hills Bar Association (BHBA) Entertainment Law Executive Committee. Guy received his J.D. from Pepperdine University Caruso School of Law and received his undergraduate degree from the University of Oregon.
